Within the compact unit is an advanced recoil system which spins freely from the first pull for an instant start. There are also two shaft sizes available to suit the size of your boat’s transom.

TECHNOLOGY

Clever Honda technology incorporated within the engine makes your trips effortless and enjoyable. The centrifugal clutch enables the engine to idle without turning the propeller blades for a smooth ride. When you want to move you simply twist the throttle and the clutch engages to drive the propeller again.

A throttle tensioner has also been included to fix the throttle position and act like cruise control in a car. You can then relax and focus on steering the boat as it travels at a steady and constant speed. ​​

PERFORMANCE

Honda’s four-stroke single-cylinder unit is air cooled for optimum performance - even after many hours on the water. The 2.3HP power output is ample for any small craft and the flexibility of the engine enables you to navigate the dock with ease.

A quick swiveling action means you can rotate the tiller handle 180 degrees to reverse without having to change gear. ​​

SAFETY​

The throttle tensioner and its ‘cruise control’ function helps you to set a safe speed when motoring near other boats. This lightweight prop can also be effortlessly lifted out of the water and away from obstacles should you need to.

Preserving the engine itself from damage is Honda’s 4-Front Corrosion Protection paint which protects against UV rays and water damage.
